PETS was great! It had the excitement of over 400 president elects from clubs from the Northeast. The fellowship and sharing was amazing. I learned a ton.

Jessica is busy putting the speaker program into the calendar, Richard has already published this week's newsletter online, and Andy has created his first ever blog entry. Masa introduced us to the Art of Japanese Calligraphy- showing us how to write the Rotary Club of Arlington, names, and Dice-K into 3 different Japanese character sets. Masa's laptop had a really cool feature- it translated Japanese character sets into different Japanese language characters.

Rachel Williams, District Literacy Coordinator, showed us what it really means not to be able to read or write on a family, community, and worldwide level.
