  • 1594: Henry IV is crowned king of France in Chartres.
  • 1922: The United States Supreme Court declares the Nineteenth Amendment constitutional, thereby guaranteeing women's voting rights.

Mike sent out an email to outlining his plan for the Road Race and asking for suggestions, If you received one I hope you answered and offered help.

RYLA Report

On Feb 28, Evan will present RYLA to the 17 junior candidates at Minuteman. Sponsorship has been arranged from Arlington, Boston, Cambridge, Lexington, Medford, Stoneham, and Winchester!

On March 5, Andy will present RYLA to approximately 10 candidates from Arlington High School.

Our Speaker Today was Thomas Krachenbuehl Ambassadorial Scholar from Switzerland who will be spending a year or more at Harvard on a Research Project. Check the Website for more details by Jessica.

Bill Repots on last year's “Pot O' Gold”, (held during and just after a near blizzard) a Huge success:

Net: $4115.00

$2.00 per Rotarian per week to Rotary Foundation brings a Paul Harris Fellowship for every 10 Rotarians back to us and supports Rotary Foundation.

Ken announced another member contributed we are now up to 15. Five more and we get two Fellowships
