  • 1770: In the Boston Massacre, British troops fire on a raucous mob, killing five Americans and wounding six. Among the victims is Crispus Attucks, a seaman of African American descent.

Minutes

[ What follows is a summary of the March meetings for the record, for one reason or another your scribe seemed to be incapacitated or other wise engaged for two successive Wednesdays and the man of many parts Bill stepped up to the plate as usual. ]

Arnold Tarmy described an annual Cambridge Club Fundraiser called “Chalk on the Walk” to he held on May 3rd and 4th.

Church Street is closed and decorated by artists sponsored by Businesses and Individuals. Events are planned on both days.

$168 in spare change was our part of the $10,000 District Donation to Polio Plus.

Bill reports World Peace and Understanding Dinner a huge Success. Cultural Scholars from the Ambassadorial Scholar Program were also in attendance

Much discussion on “Pot of Gold Dinner Dance” all participated.
