Minutes

I suggest to each of you, my valued readers, visit the first two websites shown above at least weekly, they are beautifully done and easy to navigate and are or will be full of interesting comment and our club news. We are now up to date in every way.

Boys & Girls Club and Little League annual donations were brought up for a vote and passed: Dan Brosnan will be invited to meeting to deliver to us his annual update on B&G Club activities. Not a bad idea to have the LL rep come and pick up a check in person, and give us a rundown on their activities.

Jessica Reports: had a great time at the District Assembly, (see her report on the website) most interesting bit of Information is RI will be supporting local Clubs with Public Relations.

The Interact Club is a phenomenal success they had a dance on Friday, was huge success, they raised $2000 for Rotaplast and $800 for their own programs. The only casualties were Ken and Bill (Culture shock - music?) Carolyn came through ok, but even Stacey claims slight trauma.

Speaking of huge successes The B&G Club will be having their annual Dinner Dance and Silent Auction at the Boston/Woburn Hilton between Washington Street and Route 93 in Woburn on Tuesday May 6th. Tickets $45 PP Everyone Welcome Tickets at the B&G Club I am sure Betsey would be pleased to help you out by bringing some to the meetings.

Our Speaker Masaharu Otsubo sponsored by a small Club, much like ours in a suburb of Tokyo. We received a brief introduction to Japanese culture, especially interesting, I thought was his description and use of the three Japanese languages

GND: Every one liked the speaker and Marty liked the Celts and Red Sox also

SA: April Fool no fines (I think he's just getting lazy)
