Please publicize the presentation of the Boys and Girls club check prominently in the ARC this week I would like a large crowd for Dan ( and Betsy).

We will have a speaker this week, check the website for details, we plan to have Dan back at a later date for a full B&G Club update


Notes from April 2nd Meeting

Interact Assembly Woburn B&G Club Presentations by Evan on RYLA, Daveg on Youth Exchange and Bill on Ambassadorial Scholars. The 18 Interact Clubs in the District were represented.

Evan Reports 2 Saturday training sessions for RYLA folk, RI District working again this year with us, expect to have their own program in 2009.

Marty attended the leadership institute in Lincoln, RI. Topics included: fundraising, running a meeting, analyzing club membership recruitment, and reinforcing Rotary Principles

Successful Flag Sale at Johnnies Supermarket on Saturday thanks to Bill, Greg and Betsey and Friends

Ken Reports Maryellen's Husband Arthur Loud has been honored by the BSA with the coveted Silver Beaver Award, the highest honor in Scouting.

Bill reports our friend from Cambridge Club Dan O'Neil will also receive the award
