Group Study Exchange (GSE) 2008
The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program of The Rotary Foundation is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women in the early years of their professional lives. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries. For four to six weeks, team members experience the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own vocations as practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas.
The Arlington Rotary Club is looking forward to this year's May 1 to June 2 GSE team visit from Brazil. Check back in June for updates from the GSE team visit.
Ana Luiza de Castro Coelho, GSE Team Leader
“I would like to get to know Rotary in district 7930, such as how meetings, fellowship activities and district events are run; and what sort of projects and fundraising activities are usually done. Professionally, I would like to see the American way of dealing with pharmaceutical products, including the development of a new product, the manufacturing operations, the distribution in pharmacies and how the FDA regulates the industry.”
